Information:
I thought I was never going to finish this piece, as I have been working on it for around about a year, if you can believe it or not. The reason for this is because this was a very hard piece to draw as it is, and with all the shit that was going on in my life during while I was drawing this (Some of you know exactly what I am taking about), it slowed it down a lot. But I have to admit, I am proud of this one.

Overall Vision
Originality Technique ImpactFirst of all I must say that I like the composition - the arrangement of lights and shadows, owl's figure and backgrounds done very well!
The light and perspective are perfect, the combination of columns and dusty light rays creates a mystic atmosphere. I like details - owl sculptures(though I did not saw them first) I like fine white lines on the helmet an read cloth - it creates texture.
Also, I like the colors. It's almost monochrome, the red cloak turns the spectator's eye to the main character. Its almost shining.
The details on owl's face and wings are amazing, total 3D effect!
I'm not surprised the artist spent so much time on creating it, a lot of thought went into the design of the piece.
And what I like the most - that I can view the whole process of creating on the step-by-step guide. That's really useful.
