Daily Deviation

Given 2013-02-23
:icongraveful:
this is absolutely so stunning and so creative, with its fresh perspective and horizon line and light. it truly gives the whole artwork (i keep wanting to call it a photograph) a strong depth and effect.

i really consider this a powerful image. it pulled me in immediately when i first saw it. i feel so in touch with this world through this piece -- as if i am looking through a window. everything looks so real and so bold. i love the colors, too. i think they add an air of wonder.

i do not view much digital art so i can't offer a better critique, but i can say this is very beautiful and done very well to the best of my knowledge. :)

First impression of this is just ‘wow’. This is a really amazing picture. It really is very striking and the placement of the rock in the foreground is very nicely done giving it a very different point of view to most space pictures you normally see.

I think the lends flare type effect could be made not so bright seeing as the planet in the background would block a large amount of the light and it’s overlaying distracts from the detail of the foreground. The asteroids also disrupt the overall image a bit making the area around the light seem pixelated. I would suggest taking away a lot of them and leaving larger / few ones in their place.

Over all this is such a beautiful picture and the detail when you zoo in is stunning. The blue lightly really make this picture giving it a mysterious feel. With the contrast of the reds on the planit this makes one powerful picture.

Now this is Daily Deviation material! The detailing in this picture is almost flawless. Though I guess it did help to use Terragen 2, and even so, the way you used it is amazing.
