This is Eve drawing one of her dreams, she dreams of standing in a dark empty plane that stretches out for miles, nothing there, just the back floor and a grey horizon.

I also had to edit this one quite a bit on Photoshop as there is so much graphite on the page it reflects a lot of light. I tried taking a photograph of this one multiple times and they kept coming out all screwed up.

Also, I should stop drawing Eve so much. :>

Hello over there! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w…" width="25" height="20" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="437" title="Hi!"/>
I really love the concept of a knightly owl with an armor (or anyway, that's the first thing we can see here). It gives some originality to the character (I don't remember to have seen a knight owl before... interesting concept x).

As for the technique, what's interesting is that we can clearly see the details of the lines you have used to create the texture of the plumage! Same with the texture of the metal that covers her helmet... or the background! I guess we can also thank the size of the deviation that enables us to see this clearly.
The look is kind of piercing; it adds to the anthropomorphic aspect of the character actually.
Yet, from afar I admit there isn't only her that we see as she only covers the half of the portrait, but also the empty background. However, if this is the effect you wanted to give for some reason, then it can make sense. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=":) (Smile)"/>

Thanks for... presenting us a cute knightly owl I guess!
